In 1999 we decided to sell the dairy farm and have a  change in life style. As fly fishing was Ian's passion from a very young age, we moved to Turangi. Ian and our son, Andrew, set up a trout fishing guide business and Frances worked in two different restaurants which she thoroughly enjoyed.

In 2004 our Tui Lodge was purpose built to a high standard as a luxury bed and breakfast. We moved into our lodge in 2005 and had major tasks ahead with gardens to establish and lawns to sow.

Having had many guests from all parts of the world, life has been interesting! The lodge is designed to offer guests their own privacy and the opportunity to be part of the family. Our guests have enjoyed learning about our country and local attractions as we have enjoyed learning about their countries.

We look forward to welcoming you to Tui Lodge and Turangi, the adventure centre of the North Island!
